Take part in this year’s Chip Week, from 20th – 26th February, and help promote the fish and chip trade.

To help promote Chip Week to your customers, the Potato Council has created Chip Week kits as a celebration of the nation’s favourite fast food.

With Chip Week fast approaching, time is of the essence as the promotional kits are being pounced upon by traders eager to be part of the scheme that encourages customers into their shops.

Harry Niazi of Olley’s Fish Experience, London, said:

The bunting and posters create a great display and the scratch cards – a favourite with customers – give immediate rewards so word soon gets around!

Chip Week is a great event. It encourages the staff to embrace the business and – in light of last year’s Chip Factor auditions – helps everyone to have an enjoyable and memorable time.

There is no doubt that customers enjoy Chip Week, and all of the activity and materials help raise awareness and footfall. We certainly benefit from increased trade – usually about 15% during the week itself – which is reason enough to get involved.
