Johnson Reed have begun working with a new business in the print sector – based in Lancashire – called Anilox Laser Technology. We have helped provide finance for a laser engraving kit for Anilox.

Anthony Jewell, Director of Anilox Laser Technology, had secured a silent partner to back him and his new idea and his 30 years in the industry to set up this new business. After several failed attempts with other IT leasing companies, Johnson Reed were able to provide finance for the Danish machine at 190,000 Euros. Anthony obtained letters of intent from major accounts to help underwriters.

Anthony opened his doors for business in November 2011 after a personal investment of £100,000. He was introduced to Johnson Reed through a mutual IFA Graham Prest, who is delighted that his introduction had enabled the client to start their own business from scratch.

Anthony commented that the services Johnson Reed provided were invaluable and with the current banks not looking to provide assistance, his business would not have started without the help of Johnson Reed’s IT equipment leasing.
