We know all too well that the ‘New Year, New You’ attitude often falls short of our expectations- especially during those tricky winter months. The gym can feel like a harsh replacement to a cosy bed on cold mornings, motivational mantras on our social media feeds can be guilt-inducing and although you might intend to snack on almonds at work, the chocolate is always the more tempting option…
At Scunthorpe’s Elite Fitness, however, the team have been helping members blast through the winter blues and offset their fitness regimes with helpful guidance, a huge range of equipment and enough of a reason to keep returning!
Since opening on December 1st, the gym has attracted a total of 260 members and received a plethora of positive reviews from satisfied customers, complimenting staff, classes and equipment alike.
Visitors seem largely in agreement that Elite is the best fitness facility in the area, and the range of equipment is what makes it so, explains owner, Pete Rae, “A lot of other gyms are just improvising. We cater for everybody; football lads, rugby lads, body-builders, boxers, functional trainers, cross-trainers…”
Pete was a member of the Parachute Regiment in the army before moving to Australia and setting up his own personal training business, “Fitness has been my background for years so setting up Elite Fitness was a natural step for me.”
Through simple paperwork and a fast turnaround, Elite Fitness gained equipment and fit-out funding for the facility. Amongst the many benefits leasing offers, it allows businesses to purchase the equipment they need without affecting vital cash reserves in the early stages of trading.
Pete was thoroughly pleased with the services we provided; “Johnson Reed were brilliant. We couldn’t have done it without them- simple as that.”
