Established in 1999, the Kids Play group has expanded quite rapidly. Kids Play operates 21 sites in the UK, the latest of which is a Day Nursery and Out of School Club setting in Bury St. Edmunds. Providing care for six week to ten year old children, Kids Play Childcare’s ethos is to create stimulating environments and activities to encourage children’s educational development as well as exciting Activity Day Camps during school holidays.
The former Minden Rose pub received a dramatic makeover and Kids Play Bury St. Edmunds opened towards the end of August. The building was vacant for four years before Paul and the Kids Play team purchased the premises.
The new 87 places Nursery and Out of School Club includes purpose-built kitchen facilities, play equipment, and a landscaped garden with lots of play features, including sandpits and gazebos.
Having used Johnson Reed on a number of previous occasions for his other sites, Paul knew where to turn for his equipment financing needs! With many a soft play deal under her belt, sales consultant, Paula, was able to quickly and easily facilitate the finance Paul required for the nursery’s new outdoor play features.
“Lease finance is always a really tax-efficient way of acquiring new assets,” said Paul, “The process was plain-sailing for me, which meant I could focus on the mountain of other work that comes with opening a new site. I would recommend Paula and the team at Johnson Reed without hesitation.”
