Sun shines down on Sunny’s Plaice

We love working with fish and chip shops. As a staple of the British idea, they are everywhere, and they are wonderful. We are always delighted when a past client of ours comes back at the end of their contract and wants to work with us again.

Sunny’s Plaice, a fish and chip shop based on beautiful Lincoln, came to us 3 years ago looking for equipment finance to pay for a brand new frying range for their shop. After 3 years of successful trading, they have acquired the title to the equipment, and now they are back with plans to expand their business.

Mr and Mrs Singh recently purchased a run-down derelict public house after substantial personal investment, and a bank mortgage to assist with the purchase. We helped provide comprehensive equipment finance for all the new catering equipment, which comprised of a frying range, extraction system, ovens, till system, and front-of-house furniture.

By using equipment leasing, Mr and Mrs Singh were able to use their operational budget to acquire the equipment, rather than using capital expenditure. This allows them to have excellent tax advantages, and will let them manage their payments over a fixed period of time.

Mrs Singh commented:

We are delighted with the service from Johnson Reed!

We approached them and had finance facilities available within the week. It relieved many pressures on cash flow for our next venture.

The Singhs are a typical client for Johnson Reed, that now trade 3 with chip shops. May their growth continue and we look forward to helping you with the next one!
