We told you last month about the funbus that we funded for Bucklebury Farm Park in Berkshire. Although it was acquired from a private vendor, our National Accounts Manager on the catering side, David Gadsden, managed to secure a cool £20,000 of our resources for the bus for this popular family venue to use for things like birthday parties.

Bucklebury Farm Park comprises 74 acres of glorious countryside between Reading and Newbury and is the perfect venue for school trips, as well as families that want birthday parties in a stimulating environment for their little ones. They say that as much as just five minutes of exercise in a green space such as a farm park can noticeably improve mental and physical health. After all that activity with play equipment though, demand for refreshments can be high, so their catering facilities need to be in tiptop condition too.

That’s why we’ve just raised another £3,310 of catering funding, over a three-year payback period, for a new refrigerated deli counter, supplied by the specialist catering equipment company, Brakes of Leeds. These developments will help to improve the Park’s on-site catering facilities and is all part of their planned expansion of the play facilities for children.

Given the popularity of Bucklebury Farm Park, they’ll have no trouble in repaying these loans because they can plan their budgets by simple direct debits as well as gaining valuable tax savings. The only other thing they need now is a summer of good weather to attract the crowds.
