James Mills has completely reinvigorated the pub located on the banks of the River Stour in Corfe Mullen. The pub that was once struggling to stay afloat now has a brand new look to it as they gear up for its official re-open date soon.
This is James’ first venture into the hospitality industry, but by the looks of the inside, you would have thought he knew it like the back of his hand! The inside has a real cosy feel to it with an oak wood theming throughout the indoor seating area. As we approach the colder winter months, the log fire is a great (and probably necessary) touch which only adds to that traditional gastro pub feel alongside exposed wooden beams and flagstone flooring. What’s more, the pub is family friendly so it is a great place for families with kids and there’s no need to leave the dogs at home!
Johnson Reed were approached to help with a leasing deal in order to get new windows fitted as part of the renovation. One thing that was important to James was speed, as he has been working tirelessly to get the pub reopened. JR were able to complete the leasing agreement seamlessly and efficiently in order to adhere to the timeline and deadlines James was working to.
