Case Study

The Smithfield Social opens in Manchester’s Northern Quarter

Near the site of the historic Smithfield Market stands the new and exciting Smithfield Social, owned by leading Manchester hospitality figures Jobe Ferguson, Anthony Fielden and investors.

The exciting restaurant serves a mixture of brunch food, speciality roast coffee and organic, vegan and British wines.

In order to get started, Jobe and Anthony required catering and kitchen equipment, and the support to source that, in order to get the project underway. We were happy to support the Smithfield Social, by helping to secure the highest-quality equipment to ensure this matches the quality of their ambitions, they were able to launch successfully and start trading.

“We’re super excited to be bringing our latest addition to Thomas Street with the support of Johnson Reed.”
