We recently helped a middle-Eastern cuisine restauranteur expand to a second site following the success of his 2016 start-up. On top of the catering equipment, we financed £15k worth of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery; expensive extras on top of the fundamental kitchen fit-out costs. Sourcing finance for ‘lighter’ equipment of this nature proves difficult for many, but Johnson Reed placed the deal with the right lender to secure the funds quickly and easily.
A central-London bar had exceeded its initial set-up investment (as they often can!) With £80k of furnishings still to cover, the proprietor approached Johnson Reed just two days before the venue’s soft launch to secure a lease. We returned an acceptance within just a couple of hours, allowing the furniture to be delivered the following day so the venue could open as planned.
