The White Bull in Gisburn is a newly re-developed restaurant, guest house and a traditional English pub based in a homely Grade II-listed coaching house that dates back to 1865.
Being community minded, owner and Professional Master Chef quarter finalist Simon Salt wants this village pub to offer people the best quality fine food, locally sourced at affordable prices.
Simon has personally developed the menus and oversees everything that comes out of the kitchen. To meet Simon’s high level of service during the refurbishment, he decided the kitchen needed to fitting with the most state-of-the-art equipment available.
Johnson Reed was happy to offer him a finance deal that meant he could spread the cost of the catering equipment over a fixed period of time and bypass the banks.
Simon told us:

We are delighted with the service Johnson Reed has provided us during our recent refurbishment. Despite delays with planning permission and contractors, the equipment finance was the easiest part to arrange! Jamie dealt directly with all of our suppliers and all we had to do was to sign on the dotted line. It was a fantastic, personal service.

We are proud to say that The White Bull is open and is a roaring success. Not only is the restaurant busy but also there are a lot of booking for their private dining function room and 4 en-suite bedrooms that overlook the garden and grounds.
