The Samlesbury Hotel is a high-quality 4-star hotel based near Preston, in Lancashire. Originally starting life as the Swallow Hotel, the 2-star hotel was purchased by Squire Hotels (owners of the 4-star Etrop Grange hotel in Manchester) in April 2013 and has since been renamed, refurbished, and now rewarded with its own 4-star rating.
Since being taken over by Squire, the experienced management company undertook a rigorous schedule of modernisation at the hotel, with ambitious plans to make it a high-end destination for guests looking for a place to stay, business people looking for meeting and conference venues, diners looking for a great meal, and even couples looking to get married.
Part of this new refurbishment included modernising the gym equipment used in the fitness area, which was open to hotel residents as well as outside paying members. This new kit would help complete the refurbishment of the hotel and give it a modern look and feel.
