JR keeps the 'heart' of the UK’s economy pumping
The BHF established for nearly 50 years has recently relocated and completed an entire building refurbishment. Whilst cash was available for the work their finance director David Wade commented that they could use their cash more wisely by financing the equipment purchases over 36 months.
“I had no idea JR could fund boiler systems but it has proved a great help in keeping additional cash within the organisation and enabling us to organise more charitable events through fund raising.”

Kiddiwinks Nurseries Ltd
Childrens nursery impresses OFSTED with a helping hand from JR
Established day nursery Kiddiwinks has expanded by opening its second location in Stockport with the help of JR. Kiddiwinks current location provides child care services to over 40 children ranging from 0-4 years old. Their new location is thought to double capacity by tapping into a new area. Kiddiwinks owner Donna Binns commented that they had been looking for a new location for the last few years and when the correct building came along we needed to act quickly.
Her current bank provided funding for the new building purchase that was once a church community centre. JR was able to work alongside their current bank by helping to finance internal fit-out work including furniture and security shutters for each window. Donna commented that the funding JR provided allowed her to finish the building internally to the highest of OFSTED standards and also prove quality of service to parents and carers alike. OFSTED are now using Kiddiwinks as an example showcase location to others.
“We’re grateful to Mark Johnson and the team at JR for providing the funding facility to exceed parents and OFSTED expectations… plus the kids love it! I am now on the look out for my third site. No doubt JR will provide assistance as we expand our group further.”

Cheshire Lines Health Club
When the going gets 'turf', Cheshire Lines bag a winner with an assist from JR...
Established fitness centre Cheshire Lines was purchased by entrepreneur Bill Martin 3 years ago as a going concern, operating with outdated and run down gym equipment. Over the last 2 years JR have provided finance to completely refurbish old cardio and resistance equipment allowing Bill and his daughter Julie, who now runs the business on a daily basis, to spend cash flow on marketing and boosting membership levels.
Just recently JR have provided assistance where no other lender would for 3 new outdoor 5-a-side football pitches. The new Power League that they have entered is expected to generate significant revenue per month.
Julie commented “we have tried many funding sources before turning to JR but nobody seemed to understand our business. Now we have the outside football pitches it’s given our business a completely new dimension and marketing strategy that will compliment the existing gym.”
